Her mother was a famous dancer who performed in popular stage shows throughout the capital city. Her father, however, was a known criminal wanted in five systems. To put it lightly, she had a very rocky home life in her early years. Her mother supported her while her father often remained on the run, stopping by only on occasion to leech funds from his wife and leave the Sector Rangers trashing their apartment. When Laserra was only sixteen, her mother died unexpectedly; leaving her only daughter to deal with her wayward husband.
