Jacqueline Leonard (born 28th November 1965 in Blackpool) first appeared on Coronation Street in February 2015 as Linda Hancock, ex-wife of Owen Armstrong and mother to Izzy and Katy. A former pupil of Greenlands High School in Blackpool, she trained at LAMDA and is probably better known for her portrayal of Sarah Preston in Peak Practice and as Lorraine Wicks in EastEnders. She auditioned and was shortlisted for the role of Stella Price in 2011 but lost out to Michelle Collins.
