Margoz was a fisherman native to Kul Tiras who had come to Theramore soon after the Battle of Mount Hyjal in an attempt to make more profit than he had in Kul Tiras. Still, according to his fellow fishermen, he was very unskilled and continued to live a very poor life. He was eventually recruited into service to a demon Zmodlor, who had then started the Burning Blade cult among both orcs and humans of Kalimdor. The cult's goal was to start a full-scale war between orcs and humans again, and Margoz's job was to sow anti-orc sentiments in Theramore. His attempts to do so in the Demonsbane tavern were very successful, and Zmodlor continued to manipulate both the orcs and humans into starting the war between the Alliance and the Horde again. The demon's plans were eventually discovered and he
