Bruce Marshall was born July 23, 1962 in West Boylston, Massachusetts. He passed away in his sleep October 15, 2016 in Gardner, Massachusetts at the age of 54. He was the Head Coach of the University of Connecticut Huskies. He is the winningest coach in program history, guiding UConn to the 2000 MAAC (now Atlantic Hockey) Championship. Marshall was a member of the UConn program was a student and became the head coach from 1988 to 2013 and helped lay the ground work for the programs move to Division I and ultimately to Hockey East in 2014. His overall coaching record was 351-387-72 (.478)
