Madame Alma Cluck performed "Il Alphabetto" with the Poultry Choir on Sesame Street. During the performance, she accidentally whacks the singers behind her (and eventually on purpose) on the high notes throughout the song. She is a parody of Alma Gluck, a famous American soprano. Phil Harmonic (off-screen) mentions her tour in Europe, where she laid an egg in every major capital.
