Herz is a brand of potato chips sold in Dunder-Mifflin vending machines. Karen's favorite chips are Herr's Salt & Vinegar and in a Grief Counseling subplot, she and Jim go on a mission to find her a bag of Herr's so she can continue to work, after the break room's vending machine is sold out. They are also seen in Kevin's cooking show, Kevin Cooks Stuff in the Office.
