The Blood Sentinels were an elite group of Mandalorian mercenaries, derived from the Clone Wars era Mandalorian Protectors and the Death Watch. Their namesake derived from the fact that their missions were often very bloody, and were often called on for high-end protection missions from the Galactic Empire and other governments and organizations. These specialized individuals worked for the Empire exclusively during the course of the Galactic Civil War, but were not against the idea of taking on other jobs under the table. They were employed as a specialist division in COMPNOR.
