Nayr (/ˈneɪrɑː/ or /ˈnaɪrɑː/; Wrangel: Naįraa) is the capital and the largest city of Wrangen. With 1,363,873 it not only houses more than two fifths of the country's population but is among the largest European cities as well. Nayr is located on the Akivann Lake, at the mouth of river Påtyset.
