Siridar-Count Konstantin II Harkonnen was the father of Pavel VIII Harkonnen. In 2444 AG he renounced his title, gave up all of his possessions, and became a hermit on Arrakis. A year later he returned to his home, claiming to have been deluded then. His son refused to give back his lands and tiles and Konstantin sued for their restoration. The Landsraad, as court of last resort, finally decided to split the estates, and made both of them joint Siridar-Counts, the only such instance in Imperial History
