Patch 1.3 is the first portion of the Sandstorm updates. Released on June 2, 2010, it included many changes to Device systems as well as crafting. It also included a few new PvP maps, a new Ultra-Max Security Special-Ops difficulty, as well as the option for players to attempt missions with fewer than 4 players. It was succeeded by Patch 1.35 in July 2010.
