Sega Charts (originally The Sega Charts) was a feature in Sonic the Comic that listed the most popular Sega games that week. The charts were taken directly from chart compilers ELSPA (and were sponsored by Penguin biscuits) and showed the top ten titles from each of the major Sega consoles in the last week. The first four issues only contained information for Mega Drive, Master System and Game Gear games, but Mega-CD titles made their introduction in Issue 5. In Issue 76, the defunct Master System made way for the Sega Saturn, ensuring the feature remained at four charts. With the decline in Sega's popularity, STC reduced the number of charts to two, removing the information for the Mega-CD and Game Gear. By Issue 109, the charts were removed completely and would never return.
