Jar Jar Binks was a Gungan that helped Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn, during the Naboo Crisis. He was first appointed as the keeper of Queen Amidala’s head once they landed on Tatooine. After meeting with Watto, he became the keeper of Anakin Skywalker for the remainder of the trip. He claimed to be responsible for taking out an entire droid army almost single-handedly, however, it was the result of a droid accidentally tripping the signal wire.
