USS Rogers (DD-876) was a Gearing-class destroyer of the United States Navy. She was named for three brothers — Jack E. Rogers Jr., Charles E. Rogers, and Edwin K. Rogers — killed in action board USS New Orleans during the Battle of Tassafaronga in the Solomon Islands on 30 November 1942. Rogers was laid down on 3 June 1944 by Consolidated Steel Corporation at Orange, Texas, launched on 20 November 1944, sponsored by Mrs. J. E. Rogers, Sr., and commissioned on 26 March 1945, Comdr. C. B. Smiley in command.
