Frederic B. Isley was a pseudonym used by Art Franklin who bought three blue Honda ATVs from a dealership in Tustin, California four weeks prior to Labor Day in 1991. The name was also used to rent a safety-deposit box at the WestLand National Bank in Los Angeles. The initials of the pseudonym were meant as a taunt to the FBI.
