Amemasu is a giant fish Unique Monster who is subject to the Mission in Random Kingdom VX2. As one of the first missions, Amemasu is not particularly notable an opponent, but is substantially stronger than most enemies likely encountered up to this point. The fight is further complicated by the party's being on a boat over deep water. In order to spawn Amemasu, the player has to rent a boat, ride it to the very center of the lake and there play the Fishing minigame, using a deer as bait (which can be hunted or bought from various vendors). After a greater or lesser period of time, Amemasu will be attracted to the bait and in doing so, will notice the boat and attack.
