Pichu was given to Jon by Nate in the end of Violet Poacher. Pichu was used twice against Falkner. The first time it lost but on the rematch, it helped Jon get the Zephyr Badge, along with Cyndaquil. In Familiar Face Appearance, Pichu was beginning to evolve but didn't want to. So Nurse Joy gave Pichu an Everstone to prevent Pichu from evolving. Later on in Pokemon Camp Catastrophe!, Pichu evolved into Pikachu
