Cocktail Polly was a name of a chemical mixture invented by and named for Polly Wright, who used it as a means of defence while on the Moonbase. It was intended to attack the plastic components of the Cybermen's mechanisms. It attacked the plastic in the same way nail polish remover dissolved nail polish, which was the inspiration for Polly's idea. It was shot at the Cybermen from adapted fire extinguishers. The name was coined by Polly's friend Ben Jackson. The Cocktail Polly was made from acetone, benzene, ether and propane. (TV: The Moonbase)
