Sheila Cranna is a British comics editor who served as the very first editor of the British edition of the Marvel Generation One comic, from issues #1 to #21. During her tenure she commissioned the first UK originated stories to meet the title's need for more material than the US reprints could supply, and was responsible for introducing Simon Furman to the world of the Transformers. Cranna had little empathy for the characters and in mid 1985 willingly ceded the editorial chair to Ian Rimmer. She briefly returned to edit the second Transformers Annual in 1986.
