The Bakuretsu Ranma is a beam attack used by Gohan against Frieza in the Frieza Saga. It is like a combination of Exploding Powerful Demon Wave and Masenko, but much more powerful than either of them. Gohan holds one arm out in fashion similar to Exploding Powerful Demon Wave and then launches a beam with a large ball at the end. Gohan uses this technique against Frieza after saving Piccolo from his Death Beam. Frieza was able to catch this attack, but when Gohan put his full power into the blast, Frieza was sent backwards into the ground. At the last minute, Frieza was able to throw the attack back at Gohan, but Piccolo saved him by destroying the ball with a ki blast, causing it to explode and rain thousand of energy balls on Planet Namek.
