Creme de meth was a drink combining a high percentage alcohol mixed with a powerful stimulant (presumably related to methamphetamines) and quite a bit of sweetening. With the aid of this drink, Arde Mayhew was able to stay awake for three days. Miles Vorkosigan confiscated the beverage and drank quite a bit of it himself; while normally alcohol would have caused him to fall asleep, the stimulant counteracted the effect.
