The Order of the Virginia was the second-highest award bestowed by the C.S. Navy after the Confederate Cross. It was named for the CSS Virginia, the CS Navy's most famous warship during the War of Secession. Its Army equivalent was the Order of Lee. Roger Kimball won the Order of the Virginia during the Great War.
