Oils of rust removal are Potions that, when drunk, poison the player. When thrown at a rust monster they remove the monster's ability to rust objects; given the rarity of these potions, though, this is usually a waste. The main use of an oil of rust removal is to dip items in them, which will remove any rust on the item. A blessed potion will actually make a non-rusted item rustproof. A cursed potion will instead rust the item.
