Sometime before the movie starts he has conquered the mirror kingdom and stolen their crystals. He has also imprisoned all the residents by encasing them in crystals save Hidarin and Migirin who he is blackmailing into being his servants. He schemes to steal the dream collette and to use it to grant his wish of ruling all the worlds. To this end he creates Dark Pretty Cure 5 and sends out Hidarin and Migirin to steal it telling the duo that he will free all their friends if they do so. In reality this is all a trick and he is eventually defeated by the real Pretty Cure and the Mirror Kingdom is restored.
