"Defense of Naboo" was an epic poem written by the Naboo poet Omar Berenko centuries before the Separatist Crisis. Like other well-known works of Berenko's, it was composed in the Room of Morning Mists at Varykino, a villa located in Naboo's Lake Country. "Defense of Naboo" was regarded as a visionary and disturbing text.
