Making a New Path is a Timed Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Gorman in Reconstruction HQ in Colony 6, at the same time as For the Restoration is accepted. If this quest is completed before For the Restoration, a new path will be opened at Spiral Valley, making it possible to complete For the Restoration without defeating the monster blocking the path.
