The Organa Air Cavalry were a military unit loyal to the House of Organa, one of the Great Houses of Alderaan, during the Alderaan Civil War. In 3643 BBY, three members of the unit were deployed to aid Republic forces in reclaiming Fort Orrus, a Organa stronghold captured by the rival Great House of Thul during the War. Three solders deployed from above the stronghold, using ropes to descend into battle and then fought alongside the Republic forces in engaging and killing the general leading the Thul troops, Varus Thul, and a Sith Lord named Serrok, who had been sent to aid the Thul troops in battle by the Sith Empire.
