Winfred was the one trying to rescue Caramellia, the love of his life, from the Femor Hills Tower, where she had been entrapped by the evil druid Minz. He wasn't able to cut down Minz' fast-growing grass in front of the tower though, and died the following night for unknown reasons. It's rumoured that Minz actually turned Winfred into the only inhabitant of the cave in which he decided to spend his last night: a Demon Skeleton. Winfred wrote Caramellia this letter to assure her of his undying love and also kept a diary.
