IG-822 was a Magna Guard corporal in the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. He was one of Count Dooku's bodyguards, but was also sent on different missions throughout the galaxy without the Count. He was used by Empire during the first few months of the Galactic Civil War, and later became an assassin.
