Lake Oswego was a lake in Oregon. On the morning of Day 2, the vacationing President David Palmer and his son Keith went on a fishing trip out on the lake, accompanied by Secret Service agent Rosser. David spent some bonding time with his son, and they talked briefly about Sherry Palmer, Keith's mother, whom David had recently divorced. They were forced to cut the trip short and return to shore when Rosser received a radio transmission regarding an imminent national security crisis. ("Day 2: 8:00am-9:00am")
