Exit 29W of the Cross Island Parkway is a complete-diamond intersection and one of two interchanges for the Grand Central Parkway. This one, 29W, takes you westward towards LaGuardia Airport. Before the Cross Island Parkway was aligned with the Belt Parkway, the exits were aligned with the Southern State Parkway. Due to the SSP alignment, this exit was known as Exit 8W.
