Freshia was a fresh-water ocean on the planet of Marzipan. It was located in the western part of the planet and unlike its eastern neighboring ocean Marina, it had no islands. All the cities that were built in this region were orbital cities and had to have all of their food imported from the mainland except if they had built a platform for farms or greenhouses to be added. There were many kelp forests located in Freshia and they supported a vast array of aquatic species so the fishing industries boomed in the West.
