Satan (under the guise of "Jerry Belvedere") is the main antagonist of the TV series "Reaper" and is portrayed as a smooth-talking gentleman with a joking personality who is well-aware of the fact he is destined to lose to God but is determined to cause as much suffering in the world as possible before his downfall and sees the character of Sam as being an important tool in doing so.
