The Garanog system is a star system located on the edge of the Kalandra sector closest to the Cardassian Union. It was the home system of the Garanogs and despite been surrounded by Federation space it was a neutral system. Due to a nonaggression pact with the Dominion the system was not invaded by the Dominion during the Dominion War. (The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
