A Mining Axe is an item used as a tool to extract Ferrite from mines or rocks. Mining axes randomly break on failures just as Hand Axes do, so make sure to stock up on long mining trips. If using the Mining Axe for Mining it is also possible, that instead of Ferrite Crystals of various colors, Pieces of Coal or Black Ferrite is extracted.
