Clatt was a small evil-faced searat, and an assistant of Blodge on the searat ship, Seatalon. He distributed barley meal among the slaves and found it amusing to slop it at their bowls or spill it. He was one of seven crew members left onboard the Seatalon when she docked at Terramort. When Joseph the Bellmaker freed the slaves, Clatt met his end from their swinging chains.
