The Alraune, also known as the Tarantla, Araneid, Tantala, or Tarantula, is an enemy from Final Fantasy IV. Along with Gloomwing and Gorgon, she can only be found on a three tile peninsula in the Underworld, which can be found directly south of the Sylph Cave. She also appears in the Lunar Ruins. Casting Float will avoid her only attack, Earthquake, thus leaving the enemy completely harmless.
