Horklumps are spikey mushroom like organisms. They grow in groups and stick out their spines in self defence. Horklumps are considered pests and are often treated by introducing gnomes to eat them, however often the gnomes will become pests themselves. Another method is to stun them with Flipendo then pluck them out of the ground and throw them. Horklumps when thrown will make an old coughing sound. Streeler venom is fatal to horklumps. Some wizards such as Dumbledore's great Aunt's fiancé have a horklump fetish and like to fondle horklumps.
