Rintanna is a planet in the Gamma Quadrant and the homeworld of the Rintannan civilization. In the year 2376, Taran'atar used a holosuite program where he encountered the Rintannan, making Kira Nerys wonder if the planet was depicted was Rintanna itself. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Twilight) Later in 2376, a revolt started on Rintanna. Vannis was involved in the Dominion response to the revolt.
