Charis had stolen the four sets of Elfstones and had given the blue Elfstones to his love Aleia Omarosian, as their seeking capabilities would allow her to find him. But when Aleia became the first Ellcrys and created the Forbidding, Charis and the stolen Stones were transported there, much to his surprise. He later hid them in the Kroat Abyss.
