File:Quake3.png File:QL.png Medals are small symbols of achievement that players can earn in Quake 3 Arena, Quake 3: Team Arena and Quake Live for performing certain feats in combat. When a medal is earned, its logo is displayed on the screen and a voice announces the medal's name. In Team Arena, a record of earned medals is kept for each individual map in the Single Player campaign - they can be viewed by selecting the specific map in the campaign screen. Medals earned in Skirmish and Multiplayer games are not recorded. Certain medals can only be earned in the Single Player campaign mode.
