Gulden Dijon is a Colonel, and the distant relative of Colonel Henri Dijon (an acquantance of Laura Bow). The suit of armor in Erasmus' house on Zauberberg was made for someone much taller than the hero. The plaque underneath it reads: "Bequeathed by Gulden Dijon.
