Born on Antallos, Pete Firebrand was abandoned by his mother soon after he was born, his father being unknown. Living on the streets of the pirate state, Torch survived off his wits and bulk. He acquired his first mech at sixteen, having killed the pilot in a brawl. Joining one of the world’s numerous pirate bands, he managed to make his way off-planet, only to desert his fellows during their first raid. Form there, he eventually hooked up with the Blackguards.
