Subaru (昴（すばる）), is a 45-page long one-shot romantic drama manga by Yoichi Takahashi focused on the sport of boxing. First published in Shueisha shonen magazine Weekly Shonen Jump issue #11 of 1983 with cover date #1983-02-28, this comic was originally produced for the 11th Jump readers' award exhibition (ジャンプ愛読者賞出展作) in which it was the runner-up, earning the right to be published in the magazine. After its original publication in magazine, Subaru has been reprinted in the tankobon 100m Jumper: Yomikiri Kessakushu (1986) and 100m Jumper: Takahashi Yoichi Kessakushu (2014).
