Tribsy was a young male mole of Redwall Abbey, and a friend of Tiria Wildlough, Brinty, and Girry. He helped to save Pandion Piketalon from the water rat gang of Groffgut. He also attended to solve the riddles of Sister Geminya. It is assumed he becomes the next Foremole, as the current Foremole, Grudd Longtunnel, expressed desire in having Tribsy succeed him.
