Halifax-born actress and playwright Sharon Holland appeared on Coronation Street as the Officiator who led the funeral service of Alma Halliwell in June 2001. Other credits include roles in films Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?, Secret Society and Caught in the Headlights. On stage she has appeared in productions of Blood Brothers, Educating Rita and Up and Under, as well as her own adaptations of Alice in Wonderland, Dirty Laundry and Puss in Boots.
