The Royal Manticoran Navy heavy cruiser HMS Fearless eventually intercepted the slavers in orbit of a barely habitable planet in the Silesian Confederacy. A member of the cousin's entourage was shot and killed by the slaver captain, forcing the Manticoran captain, Honor Harrington, to agree to exchange the hostages for the slavers' free passage out of the system. Once Harrington had taken in the hostages and defeated their captors, the cousin thanked her and promised that the queen would reward her handsomely. (ToH:BtK0)
