Relations in EUII are the overall quality of the diplomatic, religious, and economic ties between two countries. In EU2, the quality of relations between each pair of countries is quantified as an integer ranging from -200 to +200. Negative numbers indicate cold relationships; zero is completely neutral; positive numbers indicate good relations.
