Portrayed by Zoltan Gal, Lawrence McLellan was a one-legged messenger carrying a message from King Richard to Robin Hood. Unaware that Robin had been replaced by Guy of Gisborne as the Lord of Locksley Manor, he was forced to flee the sheriff's men through Sherwood Forest. He outran them and managed to lose them by scaling a tree with a rope and his wooden leg, but fell from the tree and thus brought about his own demise. Robin and Lady Marian found his body and received the message he was supposed to deliver. Robin also proposed marriage to Marian over McLellan's grave.
