Jevar the Bastard is a character mentioned in Might and Magic IX. Jevar was the illegitimate son of Emperor Trandis, the ruler of the mighty Ursanian Empire. In 25 B.C., Jevar founded the nation of Beldonia. Jevar had no love for his father, and the two became enemies. In 23 B.C., Jevar set out to kill his father and destroy the Empire he ruled. He spent decades pursuing his revenge, finally accomplishing his task in 13 A.C. At the Emperor's death, the once-great Ursanian Empire, already weakened by the disaster known as the Great Cataclysm, crumbled into nothing.
