The natives of Kostolain were a humanoid species that were in contact with the Federation during the mid-24th century. Little is known of the specifics of their culture, but based on the individuals seen, they appear to have had a strict code of behavior and a nudity taboo. (TNG: "Cost of Living" ) The Kostolain natives were also mentioned in Susan Wright's novel The Best and the Brightest.
